Throughout his career, Trent has had the privilege of working alongside teams whose servant-hearted approach to care has shaped his leadership philosophy. His experience across home health, hospice, and post-acute services has reinforced his belief that when organizations put patients first and genuinely care for their people, meaningful outcomes naturally follow.
Trent’s connection to hospice is deeply personal. While many are drawn to hospice through a positive family experience, Trent’s journey was shaped by a regret he carries with him to this day. When his mother was nearing the end of her life, he did not utilize hospice services, missing the opportunity for both her and his family to receive the support hospice can provide. That experience became a powerful motivator and continues to drive his commitment to helping families understand and access the gift of hospice care.
As Vice President of Growth Enablement, Trent leads onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives for Luminary’s Business Development team, ensuring they are equipped to serve communities with knowledge, compassion, and purpose. He believes authentic, present leadership creates the foundation for meaningful relationships and lasting impact. Guided by a desire to motivate, inspire, and transform, Trent works to build teams that not only achieve results, but also help patients and families find peace, comfort, and support during life’s most vulnerable moments.
