Nina Barwick
Her career began in nonprofit healthcare at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and continued in mental health, where she focused on helping people find the care they need through thoughtful, purpose-led financial stewardship.
Nina was drawn to Luminary after experiencing the gift of hospice firsthand with her own family and recognizing the opportunity to help create that same sense of care and support for others. In her role, she works cross-functionally to provide financial clarity, planning, and insight that help leaders make thoughtful, values-aligned decisions. Nina leads with curiosity, authenticity, and kindness, believing that strong financial stewardship should always serve people first. Through her work, she helps ensure Luminary can deliver deeply personal care, supporting not only patients and families, but the caregivers who walk alongside them.
One of my earliest bright moments was hearing a story about a care team helping a patient write legacy letters to their children. It showed me how deeply Luminary goes beyond expectations, not only in caring for patients and families, but in how team members support and lift one another every day.Nina’s Brightest Moment
