Cindy Douglas, DNP, MSN, RN
Throughout her career, Cindy has led and transformed care teams with a singular focus on quality, compassion, and systems that truly serve patients and families. Her work is grounded in the belief that end-of-life care deserves time, intention, and deep respect for the whole person.
Cindy’s calling to hospice began in acute care, where she witnessed how often patients and families felt rushed or unheard during life’s most vulnerable moments. That experience shaped her commitment to slowing down, listening deeply, and creating care environments rooted in presence and connection. As COO, she provides strategic and clinical leadership across Luminary, guiding teams to deliver thoughtful, community-centered care that honors dignity, comfort, and meaning. She leads with compassion and accountability, believing that when caregivers feel supported and valued, they are better able to show up fully, ensuring every patient and family feels seen, held, and never alone in life’s final chapter.
One of my brightest moments was realizing that the vision for care I had long hoped for was truly being lived out at Luminary. Seeing patients and families supported with dignity, meaning, and compassion affirmed that we are not just providing services, we are changing how end-of-life care is experienced.Cindy’s Brightest Moment
