Angela Sellami, LMSW
A social worker since 2000, Angela has built her career around providing meaningful emotional support and leading teams committed to dignity-centered end-of-life care.
Angela’s calling to hospice began as a volunteer. She spent months visiting a patient with dementia who rarely spoke, simply offering presence and companionship. On her final visit, as Angela said, “I’ll see you next week,” the patient leaned in and softly replied, “No, you won’t.” The patient passed peacefully later that week. That experience forever shaped Angela’s understanding of hospice as deeply personal, grounded in dignity, and centered on presence.
As Executive Director, she leads with a servant heart, fostering a culture where team members feel heard, valued, and empowered to provide unwavering support. Guided by the belief that it is an honor to serve, Angela ensures every patient and family feels supported, respected, and never alone on their journey.
One of my most meaningful Bright Moments was honoring a Vietnam Veteran with a motorcycle rally in his name. Watching him stand from his wheelchair to salute the bikers as they rode past was unforgettable. It was a powerful reminder that Bright Moments don’t just impact patients, they touch entire communities.Angela’s Brightest Moment
