Chuck was a lifelong Detroit Lions fan, the kind whose loyalty ran deep and brought people together. This summer, the Luminary Hospice South Bend team helped turn that passion into a moment his family will always carry with them. We hosted a tailgate in Chuck’s honor and invited his family and friends to gather around him, just as they always had.
With pizza on the table, laughter in the air, and the Lions on the screen, everyone cheered together. It was not about the score, it was about togetherness. Surrounded by the people who loved him most, Chuck shared smiles, memories, and a sense of belonging that filled the space.
